Cabby Perries?!

Just image if your kid ask u for CABBY PERRIES.... ape ke jadahnye aku pun tak tau, what animal on earth is this thing. That's what happen to me and Nenet, as Hanna always asked for cabby perries especially when main cooking2. From there I knew it's something that can be eaten. Unfortunately, I couldn't make a correct guess on what actually she wanted. Kuih ke, lauk ke, buah ke, jajan ke.. ape... I thought it was something like strawberries, blueberries, or what ever berries lah sbb "perries" kan lebih kurang sama bunyinye mcm "berries. However, the answer was always, "NO... bukan yg tu... yg mcm tu la mak...", pastu Hanna termenung.

"Yg mcm tu mcm mana, Hanna?".... and she just kept quiet, buat muka monyok.... not be able to explain. Sometimes she can describe things very well, but for this cabby perries dia tak leh plak nak describe ape bendenye. What a frustrating situation!!.. Kesian anak aku... Ya lah, bila fikir balik, how can u expect this little girl to give full explaination on what she wants... it's not fair for her. She's just being introduced to this world only for the last 34 months. So it's the parents responsibility to take care of the child's needs.

And days and weeks were gone... until last week, it was Danial's birthday... Hanna bawak balik party goodie bag, ade mcm2 la dlm tu... then she excitedly showed me a Sponge Bob sticker with the burger.... "Makkk... makk... this one... mak... CABBY PERRIES...!!!" Laaa... menatang ni rupanya...!! Masyaallah... Hanna... Hanna..

It was actually KRABBY PATIES!!!... What a bad mother I am... benda tu pun aku tak leh nak guess... pada hal tengok Sponge Bob ngan Hanna almost everyday!!!... Tapi time tengok tv Hanna tak cakap pun nak Cabby Perries... mana la mak nak tau. Then I told her, it's "krabby patties" ... not "keb-bi-pey-ris". She got it correctly... walaupun tersasul-sasul nak menyebut mula2. So the next day I bought burger bun and make beef patty for her... * tak kuasa la pulak aku nak mencari isi ketam buat burger* bukan dia nak makan pun... (she dislikes burger... McDonalds burger kat M'sia pun dia tak layan). Dia cuma nak makan roti burger yg bulat tu sapu cream... and that's what she called CABBY PERRIES. Bertuah punye budak....

Hehehehee... Mak rasa mcm nak men'saiko'kan Abaji belikan Hanna benda ni lah... ade jual kat Toy'R' Us....Hanna punye cooking set pun mcm dah 'hangus' jer rupenye. Syiok sket mak nak main cooking2 sama Hanna.... ;-P
